When We Meet
Bring documentation. Gather together whatever papers you have that relate to your case and bring copies to our meeting. If you have been sued, bring a copy of whatever papers you have been served. In divorce cases, bring the names, addresses, and social security numbers of the parties and any minor children.
Don't withhold information. If you feel a detail may be at all relevant, you should mention it. Sometimes details may be embarrassing to admit, but we'd rather hear it from you than find out from opposing counsel or a witness! Your conversations are protected by attorney-client privilege, as set out in our Privacy Statement.
Don't misrepresent. Your attorney can't effectively help you if he or she doesn't know the whole story.
